Linnea Nordström, born in 1988, started out by helping her father Henrik in the garden in Seattle at age 4. She appeared with Henrik in several gardening shows on Finnish television between 1994 and 1999. In Seattle, she answered frequently asked questions from gardeners at the Picardo Farm Community Garden.

Currently Linnea is studying Biology and Journalism at the University of Helsinki with plans to work as an environmental journalist and schoolbook author in the future. She is still active in the family-owned garden business, selling produce on-site as well as at the local farmers market on Skåldö, planning and tending the garden, as well as maintaining the webpages and marketing the business through flyers and advertisements.

True to the garden's philosophy of organic and local production, Linnea has expanded the selection of products and initiated new recycling and renewable energy projects.
